An Onsen Capybara Keychain Sitting In A Fabric Bath Tub

Bath time, in miniature. This onsen capybara keychain shows a fluffy rust brown capybara sitting chest deep in a round tub made of pale striped fabric, with both front paws hooked over the rim and a darker muzzle pointing straight ahead. On the front of the tub stands a small house shaped sign with the character for hot bath, the mark you would see at a Japanese hot spring. Above the head, a metal clasp and ring wait for a bag or a set of keys.

The Details Of The Onsen Tub And Its Sign

The fur on the head is long and brushed, which gives it a round, slightly ruffled outline. The muzzle is a shorter, darker pile with the nose and mouth picked out in thread, and each eye is one short black embroidered line, half closed. The tub is a smooth fabric printed with thin stripes like wooden staves, a brown band around the middle and a black base. The sign is a flat tan panel under a brown roof shape.

A 6 in Keychain For Totes, Backpacks And Key Rings

Six inches is large for a keychain: 6 in (15 cm) covers an open palm in the pictures. It is easier to spot clipped to a tote strap or a backpack zip than tucked into a pocket. The flat base of the tub also lets it stand upright on a table, as shown next to a mug and keys. As a small gift, it suits the friend who sends you capybara bath videos. Heights are the published figures for this model and are given as a guide.
