A Pumpkin Capybara Plush With A Jack O Lantern Body

Here the pumpkin is not an accessory, it is the body. This pumpkin capybara plush has a brown capybara head resting on a round orange pumpkin, and four brown paws poke out of it as if the animal had climbed inside. A black jack o lantern face grins from the front panel. A collar of green leaves circles the neck, and a second, much smaller pumpkin is perched between the ears. It comes in four sizes, from 10 in (25 cm) to 24 in (60 cm).

Leaf Collar, Stitched Squint And Two Tone Paws

On the head, the eyes are two small curved lines of dark thread, closed in a contented squint, above a wide dark brown muzzle with a stitched nose and a faint smile. The collar is cut into pointed green leaf shapes. The pumpkin body is sewn in vertical panels, like the ribs of a real pumpkin, and its face is a pair of arched eyes over a toothy grin in black. Each paw ends in a darker brown tip.

Four Sizes From 10 To 24 Inches

The 10 in (25 cm) size is the one held up in two hands in the photos, and it suits a desk or an entryway table. The 16 in (40 cm) and 20 in (50 cm) sizes take up more room and anchor a Halloween display. The 24 in (60 cm) size is the large one: in the photos an adult holds it in both hands and it covers most of the torso. Heights are the published figures for this model and are given as a guide.
