A Strawberry Capybara Plush Under A Lift Off Berry Hood

The strawberry capybara plush keeps the half asleep face that made capybaras the internet's calmest animal, then drops a bright red berry hood over it. The body is a warm caramel brown short pile, round and bottom heavy, so it sits upright on a desk or a windowsill without tipping. The eyes and nose are embroidered flat into the fabric, so nothing hard presses back when you hold it against you.

The Berry Hood Comes Off, So You Get Two Looks From One Plush

Listed by plenty of shoppers as the capybara plush strawberry hat, this is a hood rather than a sewn on cap: it closes softly under the chin and lifts away in a second, leaving a plain brown capybara underneath. The hood is cut from the same short pile as the body, dotted with small embroidered seeds and finished with a green leaf at the crown.

Three Heights, 5 in, 9 in and 13 in

The 5 in (12 cm) travels in a tote or perches on a monitor stand. The 9 in (22 cm) is the everyday size you tuck under an arm. The 13 in (33 cm) is the one that reads as a sofa cushion. All three carry the same red hood and the same embroidered face, with no hard parts anywhere on the body. Heights are the published figures for this model and are given as a guide.
