A Candy Cane Capybara Plush With A Striped Treat In Its Paw

The name of this candy cane capybara plush comes from what it holds against one arm: a small red and white candy cane, finished with a dark green ribbon bow that reads Merry Christmas in gold letters. Soft tan brown covers the body, with a deep brown snout and matching paws. Its red Santa hat, worn tilted to one side, has a thick white cuff, and a red knit scarf with a tiny Christmas tree embroidered on the front sits around the neck.

Three details reward a second look. First, the ribbon: a dark green bow lettered in gold script, placed on the cane next to the paw. Second, the scarf, a ribbed red knit with a green tree and a yellow star worked in thread; it can be removed if you want the candy cane to stand out more.
